89th Transmutation. -- [locked from hostiles]

My mother really couldn't have come here, could she?

S-She died. I saw her die in front of me...

But, it doesn't make logical sense.

Lady if you'll pardon my bluntness...what the hell does make logical sense around here? People coming from the future and past and alternate universes and from beyond the grave, computer glitches that make us sing or swap genders, there is a tree that grows entire roast chickens. I dunno about where you come from but meat doesn't grow on trees where I come from.

People just don't come back to life! Human transmutation is forbidden, and it has grave errors with it. Therefore, there's no possible way to make people come back to life without something going wrong!

Woman, I have been to hell. I have come back to life don't tell me that it's not possible. Maybe in your world it wasn't but we're not in your world anymore.

Noir relax, she's not calling you a liar. Clearly that freaky lady upset her.

I'll admit it's a mystery that's got me curious...but her logic is off. There's been plenty of proof that people can return from the dead in this world by the power of the god tree.

H-Hmph. That's what I know and have lived on.

But, then, why isn't she saying where I am and how I've been?

Well when I was dead I sure as hell didn't know what was going on in the land of the living but who knows what she is.

The only way to find out is to confront her.

A homunculus?
